delivery

I normally have prints ready for dispatch within 48 hours of receiving an order.

Prices include free delivery.

Orders placed online will be acknowledged by email.

Like most landscape photographers, occasionally I may be away from home for an extended period when I may not be able to fulfill the order promptly. In such circumstances, if and when I receive an email notification that an order has been placed, I will do my best to inform the purchaser by email when they can expect the order to be processed.

Prints will be wrapped in acid free tissue and sent in postal tubes by Royal Mail, first class.

The condition of prints when packed is guaranteed.

Care should be taken when removing prints from the postal tube as unsupported prints are easily damaged and all damage resulting from improper handling will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

copyright protection

All the images and text on this website, and purchased prints, are copyright of the photographer and may not be reproduced or published in any way, including by electronic media, or resold, without his prior written permission.

A condition of sale is that no item shall be put on public display or used for commercial purposes without the prior agreement of the photographer.

All purchases made from this website are governed by Scottish law and any terms and conditions mentioned on this website do not preclude the purchaser’s statutory rights.

print specification

All the photographs on this site will be printed to order on heavyweight matte paper with Ultrachrome HDR inks, unless otherwise stated or agreed by special order.

Purchasers should be aware that what they see on their own screens may differ from the professionally calibrated benchmarks of the photographer’s monitor and printer and therefore colour values may appear to be at variance with the original.

All the prints for sale on this site are are suitable for framing in a variety of ways.

It is recommended that framing is undertaken by a professional frame-maker. Prints that have been rolled for carriage will have taken on a curl. They will flatten perfectly well but should be handled with care when being removed from the tube and being prepared for mounting/framing/laminating as required. (I recommend that advice should be taken from a frame-maker about the available options.)

The dimensions of the image are given in the gallery page description. The actual image dimensions may vary very slightly from the sizes stated.

The photographic images have been prepared for printing on a professionally calibrated high grade monitor to correct the colour and tonal values and make other routine adjustments, but subjected to no additional manipulation or enhancement, and outputted on a large format Epson printer using Colorburst RIP software with dedicated colour profiles and Ultrachrome pigmentary HDR inks which have a high level of longevity.
Please note:
In common with all printed media, prints should be displayed away from direct sunlight to protect their longevity. Ultrachrome HDR prints should have a lifetime permanence in excess of 50 years, provided they are not exposed to ultra violet light.

returns policy

I am confident that purchasers will be highly satisfied with the quality of my prints but where for any reason they are not, I will make a full refund (less postage) provided the prints are returned in perfect condition within 30 days.
I will be pleased to supply further technical information or give quotations for non-standard size prints. Please use the contact form on the top menu for all enquiries.
